TED Conferences:
Where TED Talks are born
You know TED Talks
The short-form videos that rack up millions of views. But every one of those talks starts somewhere else first: on stage, in front of a live audience, at a TED conference. Each year, TED brings together the ideas that can change everything, and the people who can help make that change happen.
TED is a nonprofit built on one belief: that ideas change everything. Our conferences are where that belief comes to life, a journey into the ideas shaping our future. For the people in the room, what they leave with isn’t just inspiration. It’s a more concrete sense of what’s possible, and the relationships that help make it happen.
Our flagship event is TED’s biggest annual gathering. Imagine four days that feel like summer camp for ideas. Over 1,600 attendees across every industry, from technology to education to nonprofits, clear their calendars to hear 80+ new talks, spending the time in between in workshops, curated dinner experiences, and the kind of conversations that don’t happen anywhere else.
For the past 12 years, that flagship event has called Vancouver home. In 2027, we’re building a new home in San Diego for the start of a bold next chapter, and a return to the region where TED began.
Partnerships make it possible
None of this happens without our partners, the world-class organizations who help make TED’s mission possible. The TED stage is still our north star, but a lot of the real impact happens offstage in the moments and conversations unfolding all week long.
Our partners bring more than funding. They bring something genuinely valuable to offer attendees in those in-between moments: insight, access, or an experience they can’t get anywhere else.

How to get involved
TED Conferences are unique in more ways than one. Whether it’s a branded AI-themed speakeasy hidden behind a gelato shop or an invigorating conversation about sustainability, there are numerous ways for you to be a part of the magic. Here are just a few.
Spotlight Conversations
These panel conversations pair your organization’s leadership with TED speakers — part interview, part discussion, with room for audience Q&A. It’s a chance to put your thought leaders in front of an audience that matters, in a format built for real dialogue rather than a stage monologue.
Adobe: A Strategic Partnership
Or you can host all 3! At TED2025, Adobe became our Strategic Design Partner, with the goals of showcasing their new Firefly product, positioning themselves as a responsible AI leader, and having conversations about the intersection of technology and design. This strategic partnership included 3 distinct, integrated touchpoints throughout TED2025 to hit on each of their goals:
01
Adobe Reimagination Lounge:
An exhibit space on the main conference floor, featuring Firefly product demonstrations and an interactive quiz prompting attendees to discover and reflect on their creative type.
02
Spotlight Conversation:
Reinventing Design. Adobe and TED hosted the conversation: What is it like to use technology as your paintbrush? Is it possible to harness the power of emerging technology as an artistic mechanism without veering into ethical grey zones? This conversation highlighted Adobe’s CTO along with creative technologist Apolinário Passos, giving the audience varied perspectives on the role of innovative technology in the creative process.
03
TED Design Dinner:
A celebration of designers, artists, makers and creatives. Together with Adobe leadership and TED’s Design Curator, we gathered design leaders and innovators for an evening of meaningful conversations about human potential and creative AI, and discussed the ways we can empower exploration and enhance productivity while respecting creative ownership.
